Jamie

Welcome, and hello! My name is Jamie Sanders.

I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Kate-St.Thomas and am licensed to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin under clinical supervision. My clinical education has prepared me to work with a variety of people facing challenges in their lives, however I specialized in grief counseling and integrative therapy.

I believe that the power of caring connection can heal the parts of you that hurt because others have mistreated you.
I believe that even though you are feeling dark or painful emotions you can find happiness and peace.
I believe that therapy works best when you feel safe and supported enough to try new ways of exploring your emotions, thoughts and experiences.
I believe living life after a major stressor — such as grief, a painful childhood, a betrayal, a physical or sexual assault — demands an integrated and fully supported approach.

During my own process of healing after major stressors and traumatic loss, I reached out for help and was introduced to an incredible array of ways to adjust, grieve, heal, find joy and create new meaning in my life.

Let me help you to do the same.
